The Small Industries Development Organisation (Sido) lent Sh260 million to operators of small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) in Manyara Region in 2008/9. Sido regional manager Akundaeli Ndossi told The Citizen that Sh223.6 million was from a special fund for indigenous entrepreneurs and Sh36.3 million was from the regional revolving fund.
